Well… North Carolina . First of all I of course like the old over the new. And my favorite story is about how the stairs were designed. My heart goes out to those who had to haul those wheelbarrows up those staircases, and the visible damage done by same.
I do agree in a different way than Dave though, as the rooms in the old buildings don’t begin to match the elegance of some other Capitols you’ve visited. Just another opinion.
