We loved the views of Camden Village and Penobscot Bay from two places in this park.
We drove to the first view, Mt. Battie overlook. A Civilian Conversation Corps tower is being repaired but the scenery didn’t need the extra height.
The trail to the top of Mt. Megunticook was about a mile long, rocky and steep with a rise of about a thousand feet through mostly evergreen forest.

Camden Hills are beauty personified on a sunny and warm summer day, but wait till the winter winds blow.
