Annapolis Royal Historical Gardens

The Annapolis Royal Historical Gardens is a 10-acre park featuring a various types of gardens found in the area since the 1600s.  img_1330        Replica of a thatched-roof Acadian cottage

Fort Anne National Historic Site

The site now known as Fort Anne National Historic Site has was first fortified in 1629 by Scottish settlers.  French and English have occupied it since.  It was Canada’s first national historic site.  Its museum includes a tapestry, 18 by 8 feet, depicting 400 years of Fort Anne’s history.
