We coincidentally found ourselves in Cedar Key for its annual Seafood Festival.  How fun for us!  We checked out lots of vendors.

The food vendors were all local not-for-profit organizations:  Smoked mullet (Jane’s choice), crab fritters and redfish chowder (Dave’s choice), oysters, key lime pie, and corn on the cob.

Even the Volunteer Fire Department was showing a festive spirit.

Then there was the Seafood Festival Parade.  Here are highlights in case you couldn’t be there.

That looks like great fun. Jay and I want to go up to Cedar Key for a visit. I was there once, many years ago. I don’t really remember it.
