Jane’s brother Jon and sister-in-law Nancy were incredible hosts: They were great company, fed us, housed us (including Kaela the cat) when the trailer was being serviced, took us boating (and that’s another post) and made sure we had an opportunity to catch up with their grandchildren.
Nancy’s son Austin and daughter-in-law Kahla brought their daughters Laurel and Linde, and their recently-acquired pup Basil to the Chattanooga area for a camping trip on Chickamauga Creek.
Mexican food is a tradition when we get together with Jon’s grandchildren. The food was scrumptious and the company (Jon’s daughter Nikki, her aunt Debbie, and Nikki’s children Marley and Colton) lots of fun.
We were lucky to be in town when Jon’s grandson Noah was celebrating his seventh birthday at the Chattanooga Zoo. Noah’s parents are Jon’s daughter Crystal and her husband Sam.
