Our friends who are or have been used to snow may not appreciate how unusual being in snow was to us. It was fun to watch fall but we don’t enjoy the cold and will be heading south as soon as we can.
We had snow four different days (never a problem with accumulation) and were below freezing for days at a time. We have had a taste of winter. Enough of a taste of winter.

August 1, 2022 Rock of Ages began quarrying Barre granite at Smith Quarry near Barre, Vermont in 1880.
