Our route to Vancouver took us along the Fraser River, named for Simon Fraser who led an expedition through the area in 1808. The road was winding and narrow but the views of the river and the canyon were magnificent. Next time we should hire a driver so we can both appreciate the scenery!

This part of the Fraser is not considered navigable.
Many trains traveled the canyon at the same time we did.
Here we are following a tanker through the canyon.
