Lockhart State Park was constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps between 1935 and 1938 and opened in 1948.  We enjoyed walks on several trails.

When we followed a trail on the other side of this creek, we decided to backtrack rather than try to cross at this dammed area.

Hopefully we will run into an open one of these (the plant, not the bug!) so we can identify it.
