We never know what we’re going to see when we’re out and about. We had several stops in mind when we took off and came upon a few more once we got going.

Sometimes we just don’t have explanations for what we find.
The Owsley Bridge is closed to vehicles now. It was built in 1921.

We had read about Balanced Rock and went looking for it 16 miles from the highway. We would have missed it but for a small sign.

The rock is in an area with many other interesting and beautiful formations.
The rock is rhyolite. It’s 48 feet high and 40 feet wide. Its base is only 3 feet x 17.5 inches.

We went back to Shoshone Falls for our first-ever geocaching Community Event. In the “It’s a Small World” department, we met a woman who knows a ukulele player Jane knows from the Casa Grande area.

Here’s a picture of Shoshone Falls with the full sun. Much nicer than the cloudy skies we had the other day.

That old bridge looks like a good place for dances.

Beautiful rock formations. Love the bog tall one. It appeared to me like a huge mushroom top.

The moonshine truck was eerie with the skeleton head sadly the driver must have drank his moonshine load…

Thanks for all the pics. All Amazing creations from God.
