September 11, 2021 Sunstones are a calcium-rich variety of labradorite. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) allows for the non-commercial collection of sunstones from its property in the Rabbit Basin about two hours and seemingly hundreds of miles of dirt roads from Lakeview, Oregon. We had to go.
